How do I adjust the give ?
The “Hyper V.2” has a unique and very effective adjustable damping system (patent pending) developed by tattoo artist Artemis Rosakis.
The “Hyper V.2” is equipped with an adjusting screw to control sensitivity ( give ) .
The more you tighten the control screw, the stiffer the a-bar is getting and the machine hits stronger. When you unscrew the control screw then the a-bar is getting loose (the looser the more sensitive ) and the machine is hitting softer ( give effect ).
This adjustment allows you to adjust the machine in the fly to suit your needs in seconds.

How do I adjust the stroke-length (hub) ?
On the “Hyper V.2” the stroke-length ( hub ) changes automatically in combination with the softness ( give ) adjustment feature.
When adjusted for lining you get shorter but stronger stroke ( minimum 3,5 mm ).
When adjusted for shading you get longer but softer stroke ( maximum 4.7 mm ).

What is the a–bar and the needles position when the motor stops ?
The mechanism of the “Hyper V.2” has a spring which is pushing up the armature bar with the needles when the motor stops. This means when the machine stops the needles are inside the tube.

How often does the Hyper v.2 requires service ?
If the right lubricant is used>> Only synthetic grease!!, the Hyper v.2 will run smooth for years.
